| Went down to Pepin on Sat. Spent the day trolling lead core, boards with mono and crankbaits.
Worked the Maiden Rock area picked up a FAT 23 3/4 and her chubby sister going 21", allot grass in the water and a decent mayfly hatch, stayed there till 10:30 am then went down to the Deer Island area, picked up a 17" sauger, and allot little guys. Scored a 36" Snot Rocket man they can slime a boat up.
Lost a couple of nice fish on the boards, they dunked the boards, and peeled out some line, but they did not stay buttoned up. | |
