| I will be the first to admit I am a complete walleye moron. I will be fishing Vermilion Sep 20th-26th and I am wondering if anyone can give me a little advice? The trip is mostly for muskie, but I am sure we will try to catch a few eyes. We are staying on the west end of the lake, but I am sure we will see most of the lake during the course of the week. Anything you have to offer would be appreciated. If anyone has any smallmouth advice that would be great as well.
Thanks,

Location: Rhinelander | Vermilion is structure heaven. that time of the year, the walleye bite should be stellar! I'd check with Steve at Spring Bay resort to see if he's open for a day or half day of guiding, that will get you on track and on the fish for the rest of the trip.

| Thanks,
We are staying at Spring Bay, and we will be fishing with Steve at least one day. I hope it goes well.

| Micah,
Looks like we'll be passing each other on Saturday when you get there, i leave in less than 24 hours and check out the day you arrive. We too are staying at Spring Bay and fishing with Steve mainly muskies as well but will surely look for a fillet or two for a lunch or dinner.
