September 3rd, updating Bay report;

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

fishing continues to being OK. Best methods as of right now seeming to be running crawler harnesses whether drifting or trolling using in-line boards.
Perch definitely have been around as well and hungry as usual meaning continual checking of lines making sure bait is present.
Switching and using "Gulp-Alive" crawlers is iliminating some of the problem as well using Off-Shore "tattle-tail" boards showing us the light bites~

Spending time working the weed edges tossing jigs has found Walleye tucked in tight and feeding on young of the year Perch, gobies and other minnows, etc.....

Northern Pike are getting more on the prowl and casting spinnerbaits, cranks and larger jerk baits over the weed bed, drop off edges.

Smallmouth Bass and not hearing a lot of action on this Bay but Big Bay still showing some nice catches according to Ranger Rick from Garden Sports Shop.

Keep in touch and enjoy the Bay waters,

Marty
