| I was browsing the new Lund brochure,(nope not jumping boats), anyway I think it was page 8, it says the PRO XS family 250, 225 and a 200 PRO XS? Misprint or a slip of something new in the 200 line?
The 200 is a strong 200, a 200 PRO XS would put a smile on guys face and a frown on the wallet |

| Moreyes, I don't know for sure how much more you could get out of a pro xs. When I bought mine I was told the amount of speed you would get is minimal. Not worth the extra money. I was wanting one and maybe I should of inquired more about the pro xs. I'll have to get on the mercury test site and see what some are getting for results. Maybe they had some changes with the 200's on up. If anybody has some info on differences it would be worth reading about them. |

| Yah that is what I heard about the 200 OPTI it is strong, I have one and I am impressed by the power.
Maybe it was a typo? Who knows? Doesnt the XS have a different gear case, and some minor engine massaging, I know they run at 6000 rpm vs the 5750 the OPTI does.

| I have had two Pro XS 225's on a 1900 SE lund. The difference is amazing, hole shots etc.... I would get 3-4 mph extra compared to my regular opti. The fuel consumption is surprisingly the same as an Opti. I love the Pro XS and its worth the money. |

| If you go to the mercury website, it looks like they have a 200hp pro-xs and a 115 hp pro-xs. Both are new. They also have a 125 hp optimax. |
