I just got back from a 4 day weekend fishing the Mississippi. We stayed at Blackhawk in a motorhome. I would like to go out there again in late octtober and again in november. The motorhome gets a little to exspensive with the fuel costs and pulling a boat. I am getting about 5 miles to a gallon so it is not cheap. Any one have any good lodging recommendations in the Desoto area?

There is acouple of places you can rent cabins. I have heard that there is a new owner for the big river inn in Genoa. Captian hook in genoa has a cabin to rent also. There is also a motel in ferryville but it could get tricky with a boat. If you punched in on google the towns the places will show up. Might be hard to find something on weekends with all the shooting going on. hehehhe.

Check with Dennis and Cheryl at Scenic View Cabins just north of DeSoto on the right. They have cabins, mobil homes, and log home trailers.
