Location: Stevens Point, WI | Lund/Mercury pro Bruce Mirabella is in a position he's never seen before, atop the PWT leader board with a solid six pound plus lead in the last PWT event. Coming to the scales with a 27.52lbs., Mirabella reported four bites all day but with some luck on his side and a forgiving buoy that gave up a wrapped 10# class fish, he was able to put all four Walleyes in the boat.
Nick Johnson is in second place with four fish that weighed 20.62 lbs. The majority of anglers were doing a combination of things to boat fish including trolling, jigging and casting cranks.
Mercury pro Sam Anderson holds down third place with a five fish limit weighing in at 19.82 lbs. Holding down fourth is Lund pro Dave Randash with 18.93 lbs and fifth place is being held by Toyota Pro Pat Neu with a day 1 weight of 17.61 lbs.
