| It's a double edge sword, the internet has proven time and time again, if you tell 'em they will show up.
Vandalizing the playground.

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | Can someone help me to understand what this article means? The duality of man? the laziness? the reverse of the old adage, "Teach a man to fish?" I'm Confused. |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I look at it like this. If I get to a launch and see it's busy, I simply wait my turn and usually laugh at some of the launching fiascos I see so many times at the ramp. I don't get frustrated. It's not worth the aggravation I cause myself. Ok! Now I'm on the water. Get to "my" spot and find it's crowded. So what! I know how to catch fish and realize there are several spots to fish. Or else, simply get in line and await the opportunity to get to my spot while fishing outside the 9 dots around what I believe is a good spot. No biggie right? Afier I fish for the day wether successful or not, I get back to the launch and wait my turn to recover my boat. Again, laughing at some of the antics I see. I finally get the boat all hooked up for travel and am about to get on my way. But first, I look at my two young sons and see the smiles on their tired faces and ask them if they enjoyed the day. They reply by a sleepy "Yeah Dad! That was fun! When we gonna do it again?" At that moment, all the frustrations locked up inside that I could have gotten all worked up about, go away and make me look forward to another day on the water. Just my two cents. Have fun! Life's too short to fret the small stuff. Everybody has the right to enjoy our resources. Now get out there and fish! |

| It appears that the picture is that of the typcal spring run on various rivers around the country. Short in duration and long in fun for many.
When I hit those situations I am always amazed at that many boats in one space.
I would doubt that there are many 'new anglers" in the batch. We have lots of water and plenty of resources if cared for responsibly.
Take care,
