As many of you may of heard, G3 cut there entire promotional team and have cut back on there advertising too. I would imagine the board was removed due to budget cuts at G3 and so has been throughout the marine industry.

Here we go again. Unsubstantiated guesses, innuendo and conjecture from more of us anonymous posters. Don’t ya’ just love the internet? Heaven forbid that we just wait for someone like Steve to come forward with a statement, let’s make up things and hope later we are right.

Seeing it was pulled on Jan.1st could cause speculation, however I still see their advertisement banner here and they are still listed as a sponsor. One could assume those other things would cost more or go first before a website board that costs practically nil. But then I am just speculating like you. But it is okay. I’m anonymous

When I go there the site works and now says 2009. Looks like they were just updating their web page

g3's owned by yamaha. i'm not an expert in the marine industry but yamaha is a very strong company and my guess is their just redoing that site. FYI I KNOW OF A G3 DEALERSHIP THAT CAN'T KEEP UP SELLING THEIR BOATS WITH THE YAMMI'S. I SEEN ONE TIME IN '08 10 G3'S SOLD IN ONE WEEK. JUST MY 1 CENT WORTH.

As I said earlier the site works fine now, so they must of been updating. The Genmar comment was really said to play off the AIM comment...I really do not think G3 will be sold, but hey you never know. Just look back on 2008 there sure were alot of suprises.

G3 has chosen to consolidate all their advertising dollars that were dedicated to partnerships like ours into their TV show, according to RW Eagles, the agency we dealt with the last two years.

We enjoyed our association with G3, and wish them continued success.
