Heres funny retort I got a bit ago... Man thats rich.....LOL

===================================================
P.S. Bass fishermen don't fish walleye circuits because we know where the money's at. We don't get those cricket noises at our weigh-ins. We like fishing in the jungle with 80lb test rope. We like our bass boats that do 80 mph past the walleye boats. Bass are everywhere. Walleyes aren't. You don't look as cool when you're not holding a fish by the lower lip. Walleye boats take forever to put on a trailer. Bass boats look sexy as hell. Bass fishermen get more chicks. Scientifically proven that serious walleye fishermen tend to be homosexuals. Walleye fishermen that are straight tend to marry the morbidly obese. Bass fishermen don't cheat during tournaments with live bait. And finally, I've never heard of a multi-million dollar facility called Walleye Pro Shops.

Sounds like that guy has a personal problem. I'm pretty sure Tommy Skarlis would hand him his hinder in a verbal jabfest, but that's just a guess. I'll bite, even though I cut my fishing teeth on largemuth and still love fishing 'em:

Walleye anglers can actually read a sonar and know how to use all the settings. They have classes on the subject.
Bass anglers think a kicker is a good fish.
Bass anglers think 'boards' are for making porch floors
Bass anglers have no idea what a 'light bite' is. Bass suck up about a gallon and a half of water, hoping the bait is somewhere in that mass of H2O.
'Finesse' to a Bass angler is not smacking himself in the chest with a fish when he/she boats it.
Bass anglers have no idea what a windshield is for, especially a walk through.
Because of that, when it's cold outside, a rare occurence for bass events, they wear a motorcycle helmet
They think that looks cool.
Bass fishermen have boats that go real fast...straight into a wave dead center if on Lake Erie on a rough day.
Bass anglers think 'rough day' means a 3' walleye chop.
Bass anglers almost never have a fish fry during practice, for obvious reasons
Some Bass anglers have cool names that are not usually used to name boys at birth.
Other Bass anglers wish they did.
Bass fishermen think 'worms' are made of plastisol, and unlike a true grit walleye angler like Matt would never snort one.
Crawlering, to a bass angler, is something done with heavy equipment
Bass fishermen call weeds 'grass'. This is confusing to ALL Muskie fishermen.
Walleye fishermen know what grass is, and hope someone cut it while they were prefishing and competing.
Walleye anglers understand some bass anglers like to insinuate everyone in all the other fishing sports are 'gay', except for Shark anglers, whom they fear irrationally.
Some of the more established walleye guys think that means 'happy'
it's fun to take a bass angler fishing for walleyes, and hope they lip the first one. Walleye anglers usually warn them about that...about a quarter second after it happens.

I could go on, but it would be overkill.

Bass fishermen think they can hook up a VCR to a Microwave and watch a 2 hour movie in 20 minutes!
Bass fishermen take 2 hours to watch 60 Minutes!
I always tell Bass fishermen to use their brains cause it's the small things that count!
I have a friend who use to fish walleye until he sustained severe head trauma, now he fishes bass!

Ok! I'm done. For now!

Bass fisherman Smile and share infomation. We also like to fish in shorts, cast and have Fun fishing. We also never fish within 50/100 feet of another boat(walleye guys-10 feet ?). We also catch/release and we never have to use live bait to catch fish. Basically we still are all love the same Sport - fishing !

Yeah, I was watching Kim Stricker on TV just this morning sight fishing bed-sitting spawning bass on Delavan. Boy...that is some real skill there. I really want to see more of THAT on TV. Forget the ethics of it- it didn't even look like fun.

I saw a bass boat out in the middle of a lake once....he was lost.

Let it be known that I am sorry if I offended anybody! A little ribbing between fisherman is a whole lot better than a political post or arguing about the economy. Tight lines.

LMAO

when I joined a BASS club in Illinois, they all called me a "perch jerker" because of my Walleye Tournament fishing....even would go so far as to check my boat pre-flight looking for leeches.

However, when I started winning money on a 1/8 oz. jig worm and drop shot before it was super "popular" they took notice. A few even asked about help finding off shore structure with their electronics. Good times. I even managed to make the State 12 man team twice since joining 4 years ago.

Bass fishermans depth finder = 7 foot flipping stick (if you cant touch bottom, better get closer to shore)

A good buddy of mine joined a bass club a couple of years ago just so he could get out and do more competitive fishing. Everyone laughed at him when he put his tiller boat in the lake and was getting passed after blastoff. They thought they could take his money easily.

They aren't laughing anymore, he has finished in the top 3 in the club every year he as been in it. They also laugh at him about his tackle box which consists of one Plano plastic box. He says if they aren't biting at what he has in that box they not biting.

Needless to say he says walleyes are much more difficult to catch and taste better too!

My mom always told me, son if you want to be a real fisherman go after the ones with teeth. Most bass guys can't fish walleyes because it's to big of a challenge for them and they give up to easy.

All my bass fishing equiptment fits into 1 plano box. All bass guys I talk to wont walleye fish. They say they cant stand fishing for such a finiky fish in bad conditions. I saw that guy site fishing for smallmouths on the beds. It looked real hard to do. It took alot of tricky casting to catch fish for the camera. hahahahaha
