I found this site and was excited to find reports for ice fishing the Wolf River, but all I ever read is about is some stupid thing about ice out. Thanks for nothing! \NewGuy

Hey Newguy, instead of coming on here unlogged and being sarcastic, you might want to try asking if anyone has been out ice fishing lately and how did they do. You might be suprised on how many replies you would get being courteous rather than rude. Now log in and try again! Remember, you can catch more bees with honey than vinegar! By the way, I don't ice fish so sorry I cannot help you.

hey new guy, you been ice fishing the river? I took a snow mobile ride from the mouth to hortonville and gotta say, there wasnt 5 guys fishing. The river just dont get to much traffic during the winter. If you know how to fish it, let us in on the secret and we will use the tips and let you know what we are doing.

The majority, mass majority, fish open water. Thats why we have an ice out calculator.

Come to the Ice breaker at Critters sports in winneconne on March 13-14-15th and you will find people that are like minded to you that you can talk to.

New guy. I fish the river through the ice and do well. You need to be careful and know the river. You also need to ask a little nicer.
