Location: Berlin | Congrats on a great finish. You deserve it. I think it is awesome that you two fish together. I wish my wife would fish with me more. What better way to spend time together! Congratulations again and good luck on the rest of your year.

P.S. It is great to see Dan and Steve Bodinger take high finishes also. Good things happen to great people. Great job guys. |

| Yes, congratulations to the Franks!
Also to Kevin Blanck and Don Lisowe. Last night when I gorged on chicken at the gas station in Pipe on hwy 151, I asked the girl at the check-out how well the "boss" fished for the first day of the tourney. She asked "do you know my dad"?
Come to find out that her dad was fishing with Kevin Blanck (the owner of the station) and she was so proud to announce that her dad and Kevin were "in the top twenty".
Bet Don Lisowe has a very proud daughter 'bout now! |

Location: Oshkosh | Also congrats to Greg Karch and Tim Knoespel. These two seem to be getting closer to the top every year! A just reward for a couple great guys. Sorry I couldn't make the weigh-in today, I had to entertain the inlaws (by slaying dink walleyes!). You're gonna have to fill me in on the details...

| Congrats to Kevin Blanck also. I went to High School with Kevin, and have talked with him at several tourney's in the past several years. He's a great guy. After the heartbreak of missing the cut by 1 oz at Erie a couple weeks ago, his finish here had to feel great! |

Location: Neenah, WI | Thanks Rich and Rick. WOW. Winnebago has some great fishing in store for years to come. All those 8-13" fish will provide plenty of action for quite some time. The Otter Street folks put on their usual great tournament. They impress me every year with their orginizational skills and loads of volunteers!! GREAT JOB!!
I really want to give a special thank you to Kathy Wohlers for the bag of lucky cookies. She's been giving Ginny and me a bag of cookies on Sat. for a few years now and they worked again.
Congratulations to the winners and to all the anglers who pulled such great weights. There were some pretty impressive baskets brought to the scales. Last year we were 17th and had about 29lbs. This year we had 31 and were 34th. What's it gonna take to win next year? It could be 60lbs!!
