| Any opinions on the best quality and most sensitive rods for Lindy rigs and jigging? I have been told St. Croix Legends, but need more input before buying a couple of new rods at this price. |

| I have been happy with my Fig Rig rods, but not sure if they are still on the market. They have not contacted me, and the website is down since they sold the muskie line.
For my soanglers, I have the Gander Mountain Tournament Series rods, and they are very nice. Way less expensive than the Loomis, St Croix, Fenwick, and Fig Rigs. I really like them. |

| I am happy with my St Croix rods, I have some Avids and Legend Tournament like them both, I use Avids for Llive bait rigging and legends for jigs. I would rec them highly, I dont know how close you are to Red Wing but Dean at Everts has a nice selection, and you can fish before drive home with one, of course you can only drive home with one after you pay ;=)

| The Legend Tournament Walleye Series from St.Croix are tough to beat. The 7ft Lindy Rig rod is not only a great rigging rod, but I also use it for pitching jigs and dragging jigs. For vertical jigging I use the River Jig model or the vertical jig model. One of the many assets of these rods is the durability. When you build a product this well you can justify standing behind it like St.Croix does.
If you are not looking to spend as much, but still want the quality, the Avid series is a great choice. |

Since you're such an St. Croix Avid fan I listed a couple of rods for you in the Buy/Sell/Trade board. But I'm sure you aren't interested since it's two rods, and you Minnesotan's wouldn't know how to fish with two rods at one time!!! |
