| I visited the Cabelas store in Richfield on Tuesday, there were 20 cars in the parking lot. I was suprised at how bare the shelves were. Most isles were missing 50% -60% of the items on display... in the entire fishing department! Common items such as Rapalas, harnesses, and just about everything else was not restocked. Honestly, it looked like a going out of business sale had just happened and you got there a day too late. I asked about a couple of Lowrance locators and they were out, I inquired about a new handgun and it was out of stock the day the sale started. The scarry part was no one I spoke with could tell me if they had inventory coming to replace it. I stop there about twice a month on my way through... never seen the store that dead... sure hope everything is ok! Purple Skeeter | |

Location: Port Washington, wisconsin | That's not uncommon based on my visits too. I realize at this time, as with most retail fishing stores, including Fleet, they are turning out the spring line from what I've seen. But, I have little luck at Cabela's most times of the year finding what I need.

I know they are having a Captains day event March 2nd and 3rd. I am pretty sure they will have some good deals for that. I was also told that their fishing inventory for spring will be there real soon. I don't think they are closing up, just a little behind.
Dominic, which locator were you looking at? I am looking for a new one too and was wondering what you were going to run.

That is indeed the case, the dreaded "Spring Roll," the same situation is currently happening in Hammond. We are completely replanning the fishing and marine departments, and hope to have everything completed before March. We hope you'll understand, and we truly appreciate your patience.
Trust me, it will be well worth the wait! Keep an eye on your mailboxes!
