Check out Hutch`s Tackle, www.riverwalleyes.com. He uses a teardrop jighead
but makes the best short shank live bait jig that I have seen.

I found out yesterday that I'm working 6 days a week till sometime around death, that puts all tournaments on hold, along with alot of plans for the summer... new tuffy is still in badger land, which is not a problem, cause I got no place to put it... more snow today... not in a good mood... looking forward to those weights, just posted a carolina rig answer on another board and mentioned your site... gotta go... the mail just keeps going... and going... and going...

I'll second Hutch's Jigs, give him a call he uses the sharpest hooks available. And will pretty much paint up what ever you like. Cranks too!

well kinda, I picked up some jackel tungsten flickshake heads... expensive but really fit the bill...
they got a REAL nice sharp hook and a little weed guard... wanted them for a little sneaky lightweight leech set up...
thanks for the hutch site, got it marked... I really like getting stuff from guys like that, instead of the big places...

I have the do it short shank mold, as it is my favorite walleye jig on the river here, and decided to buy, as it was getting difficult to find short shank jigs a dozen or so years ago when I bought the thing. I have the mold over at a baitmaker friends place, and if you'd like some poured, drop me an email. [email protected]
