You gonna pull the big fish out again this year, tyee? Wish I could fish it but I coach my son's soccer team on Saturday mornings and we've got a Cub Scout activity planned for the afternoon. Might be there for the weigh-in late afternoon.

Good luck WFers.

I'll be there as long as I can still get to my spot after the snow. Looks like this rain is knocking the existing snow down pretty good now. Should be OK unless we really get dumped on tomorrow night...

Tyee, will you tell everyone who cannot fish this event, where they can buy a raffle ticket to all the great prizes you have mentioned to help support the cause. Let us know how it works.

Viking, I'd be surprised if I catch a fish this year, haven't been able to prefish much and only have one spot producing any fish. Not sure how it will go, but I can guarantee I will be celebrating in the festivities on Friday night and Saturday. Stop and say hi if you see me vertical, but leave me lie if I'm horizontal!
Good Luck

A FAT 25" 7# WALLEYE TOOK FIRST PLACE! 2nd and 3rd went to burbots and a number of 1-2 pound eyes were brought in as well as numerous whitebass. It was a great time with a ton of people attending. I managed to get a few walleye but not nearly as big as last year. Complete results will be up on the website in a couple days as some recovery time is needed for all the hard work put into this event. Troy and the team put together a great event where monies raised were given back to the community, a donation matched by JJKeller to the family of the accident a few weeks ago, Otterstreet, Westshore fishing club and the Reelin the youth kids event were some of the many recievers of donations. All in all a success again. Look for it to get bigger and better in the future, as this event grows and with the input of the participants to make it even more benneficial for the lake and the people we love!
Be sure to check out the website some time in the near future for photos, videos and results.
Good Luck

I'm gonna have to up my game a bit for next year...my .48 pound perch barely made the top 300. A great success though. A tremendous amount of money raised for good causes. Kudos to all the volunteers...those guys/gals were busting rump serving food/drinks and keeping things going smooth.
