Fished all day Friday at Guttenburg and what a beautiful day out there. The bite was a little slow, but ended up with a nice limit of 16-19 inchers. Seem to catch a lot of small fish in the deeper water, so went shallower 18 ft -10ft. Caught and the better fish on a lime green and silver glitter (Lucky Strike ringworm) that I bought at the bait shop in Guttenburg. Thank Beth for turning me onto that color, I think it was key!!! Anyone else having any luck?

A friend and me fished Guttenburg this weekend. It was pretty tough bite, but be did catch a nice limit of fish, pitching jigs and one eyes, dragging ringworms and hair jigs(purple best color) with a half of white ringworm on it. Most of the better fish came in 15ft of water or less. The river in on the rise.

Hey Charlie, we seen you up at Guttenburg, but didnt get a chance to sat Hi! We also foung it to be tough although we were fishing with those NEW gitter jigs we bought from Beth's-Guttenburgs bait shop- and I think it made all the difference in the world. We did not keep any of the six fish caught and the biggest of the day was a 24 1/2 eye on a firecracker ringworm on a silver glitter jig.
