| A limited number of team openings remain for the 2009 Warrior Boats Walleye Classic tournaments set for June 5-6 on the Alexandria, MN, Chain of Lakes (Spring Walleye Classic), and the Lake Minnewaska Fall Walleye Classic on Sept. 12-13 in Glenwood, MN.
$350 entry fee with the first place payout of $6,000 guaranteed for each tournament. Open to all teams with a 75 team limit. Payouts for each tournament are as follows:

16th through 23rd=prize payouts consisting of Stearns competitor series lifejackets and Digger Anchors.
Divisions within the tournament include: Father/Son or Daughter; and Husband/Wife or Boyfriend/Girlfriend. Teams are automatically placed in the divisions at no added cost based on partner status, and fish only against teams within their division for an added $450 cash. Divisional teams are eligible to win the overall cash and prize payouts.
Up to $15,000 in Warrior Boats manufacturer / dealer contingency cash in owning, fishing from, and winning in a 2008 or newer Warrior Boat (must be original owner). $7,500 in manufacturer contingency cash from Warrior Boats, and $7,500 in dealer contingency cash from Alex Dock/ Lift and Marine if boat was purchased from that dealer. **10 boats in the 75 boat field were eligible for the contingency cash at last September's Fall Walleye Classic on Lake Minnewaska, and brothers Mark and Brian Berle walked away with $21,000 after winning the Fall Walleye Classic in a 2008 V1783 Warrior boat.
First 40 teams registered are eligible to fish in the Shoot-Outs for each tournament, which are a mini tournament within the overall tournament. Teams are drawn at random and placed in 4 groups of 10 teams. Heaviest Day 1 weight in each group is the Shoot-Out winners. Each winning team members receives a $100 LakeMaster gift certificate for the purchase of gps digital map cards or software.
About the lakes: look for a number of 3 to 9-lb. fish to be caught during the Spring Classic on the Alexandria Chain of Lakes and for it to take upwards of 40-lbs. to win this tourney. Early June is primetime on the Chain. Lake Minnewaska---quite capable of putting up big weights with the highest walleye count in over 20 years. You'll catch everything here in addition to walleyes.........monster smallmouth, big largemounth, northern pike, and sunfish that will hit crankbaits!
