Location: Appleton | APPLETON: The Midwest Walleye Series (MWS) will have their second tournament of the 2009 season in Green Bay on Sunday May 31, 2009 and will include fishing the entire Bay of Green Bay.
There will be registration and rules meeting will be at Metro Park Green Bay. Registration is 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the rules meeting at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2009. Teams must be off the water by 5:00 PM Saturday May 30, 2009.
Tournament hours will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. The entire Bay is open to fishing.
The top twenty five teams of the series will fish the championship tournament and attend the championship banquet. There will be no entry fee for the qualifiers. This years Championship will be October 10, 2009 fishing the entire Winnebago system.
The MWS circuit is a professional, competitive, and affordable fishing opportunity. Results are posted on our website www.fishtfm.com as well as other web sites. Also, the Midwest Outdoors Magazine covers the tournament results. A subscription to the Midwest Outdoors Magazine in included with the MWS membership.
The MWS is run by Fishermen for Fishermen.

There are still openings in this tournament. We will take entries up to the 5:00 PM Saturday May 30,2009. However entries postmarked or taken after May 23, 2009 will be charged a processing fee.

The way the bite is going , i'd aim closer to 30 lbs. | |

| To far away yet to tell. Depends on the weather if the wind is moderate and teams can run look for 32-34 lbs to win. Good Luck to those that fish, the bite has been good/excellent........awesome compared to petenwell. | |
