The smoker is ready. Does anyone have any Wolf River white bass reports?

Winneconne has been hot the last couple of days. Call Critter's Wolf River Sports for the latest reports. 920-582-0471.

Here's my report: They are EVERYWHERE right now. Grab a boat, a kid and a cooler and have at it.

+1 to the above post. Fishing has been outstanding the last few days. Slack water areas have been hot for us

Here in fremont the reports have not been that good. In fact they down right suck. Where are you guys getting the fish? Clarify which waters you are fishing.

Thanks

I stopped by Eureka, folks on the dock were getting them, same for Omro (current was really moving there). I caught a bunch on Poygan/Winneconne/Butte des Morts in the last 6 days (and I wasn't even trying for them).

Last week there were plenty of whitebass mixed in with the walleyes at Winneconne. I've got to believe the whitebass are only "thicker" now.

Tons of big whitebass mixed in with some big walleyes in the gherkes reef area. Trolling small cranks.

They are starting in Fremont now. You work at it and get 40-50 in 6 hours. Needs to get warmer and this weekend does not look like it is going to help, maybe next week.

Mother's Day afternoon we fished the New London area. The white bass were a little slow but we still picked up 14 large fish in a couple of hours. About 1/3 of the fish were spawned out. My fishing buddy had better luck the day before. He blamed the cold front Saturday night for the slow down on Sunday.

After the weekend slow down the fish have picked up again. Fast, no, consistant, yes. the males seem good and with some more warmth, the females will be better. Should be good for a couple weeks.
