Dedicated NPAA Pros offer these clinics on the last day of every FLW Walleye Tour event at the Wal Mart Parking Lot. Hundreds of kids have been introduced to fishing, and many parents have been motivated to get the kids out fishing as a result of this program.
This year, the program funding is coming up short. The Pros have been reaching into their own pockets to make sure every kid attending gets something to get them out fishing. Only a few rods and reels are available as a result. The rest of the kids at the Red Wing event received $5 Wal Mart fishing department gift cards to shop for some fishing gear.
Corporate, industry, and individual sponsors are needed to keep the program going strong. Contact Richard Zachowski from the NPAA website (http://www.npaa.net) or email/PM/call me at sworrall@muskiefirst, 715.362.1760 to help out. Even $5 is a help, no amount is too small.
Recently, a call went out to the Muskie community to help keep Operation Muskie, an event dedicated to taking veterans of the US military muskie fishing in Canada, solvent. The fine folks at MuskieFIRST put together enough to fund the event this year...$17,200.00. The Kids and Family Fishing program needs a fraction of that...let's see if we can figure out a way to get this done.
Ideas? Donations? If everyone reading this chipped in $20, we'd be on our way.

Sent some money to the NPAA for the kids clinic,
mark it for kids clinics, it is used at the FLW, AIM and MWC events, for a good cause

Sent a nice donation to Cody last week to be used for the FLW Bago event. He said they had some good donations for that event, but needed some more slip bobbers and other supplies. Hopefully it helps, great cause.
A special thanks to the pros who stay the extra day when not fishing to put on these clinics, way to keep the youth interested in the sport!
