Location: Tobin Lake Sask. | I have a 112c and just bought a 27c, the 112 came with a double T, the 27 didn't. But the extension has the 120 ohm ends on it that came with the 27c.
In the manual it calls for a single T to be added to the double T then go to the 27c.
(Sorry i got ahead of myself, i'm trying to run both units with one gps)
Can i just take the 120 ohm resistor off the end of the double T and just add on my extension and go to the 27c.

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Yes, take the 120 ohm off, add the single t. You'll then have the puck connected to one of the t's, a cable running to your 112 and a cable running to your 27. I've got this exact setup but with two 27's, so it'll work! |

| Has anyone had problems with the GPS puck burning out and not working? I have the 3000 puck and it is networked between a 520 and a 110. I am on my third puck in 2 years.

Yes, I do believe you need the the single T. With the double and single T's together side by side, you have three ports to plug in. One cord will run to your 112 unit, one cord will run to your 27, and the other cord will be run from your gps puck.

Are you mounting your pucks to a solid surface? Meaning, it's not just loose on your dash? |

I have had the the 112 for a couple of years, just got the 27 and i thought i would network them together so when i made a waypoint it would be saved on both machines instead of running 2 seperate pucks and having to run back and forth between machines marking the same waypoint. |

Location: Tobin Lake Sask. | FYI, got out onto the lake this weekend and tried out my 2 sonars, i kept them hooked up the way i described before and it worked. i don't know if it's the right way but it works. So i guess i answered my own question- you don't need a single T if your extension has the 120 ohms on the ends. |

| Each end your your network must be capped with a 120 ohm terminator..you can put as many t's in between the terminators as you but, the network must be capped with the 120 terminators. |
