Location: Stevens Point, WI | Bringing in a CRR astounding day two catch, Tracker/Mercury and veteran Pro Gary Parsons vaults himself into familiar territory with a day two catch of 43.05lbs to put himself in the lead. Parsons went out in seventh place and fishing relatively close to AIM headquarters, he was able to catch, record, and release two fish in the high twenty inch range. Gary may have a tough time tomorrow holding off Navionics Pro Tommy Skarlis. Parsons holds a little over a one pound lead going into day three.
Skarlis is sitting solidly in second place. He went out looking to put a solid bag together and did just that. Weighing a seven fish total of 29.40lbs, Tommy's hope for the day was to be in position to be able to make a move on day three. Skarlis also noted that his fish yesterday were a bit unexpected but felt that the area he was fishing could definitely be holding more.
Rounding out the top, third place and Mercury Pro Tommy Kemos ended the day with a day two weight of 61.63lbs. that pushed him not only in the top five but in solid position to make a move for AIM's inauguration tournament. Sitting in fourth place, Wisconsin Pro John Kolinski maintains a total weight of 59.49lbs, while Evinrude Pro Todd Riley holds down fifth place with a total weight of 58.97lbs.
