Subject: AIM Final Day is a WRAP!

Location: Rhinelander
Lindy/Navionics Pro Tommy Skarlis did it again, this time with a CRR three day 21 fish total of 100.93 pounds.

He was definitely looking for the win, telling WalleyeFIRST on day two,"I'd REALLY love to win the first AIM event, that would be more than cool!"

Here's Tommy's post win video interview on the AIM website:

He fished the river early, then moved out into the bay for awhile to finish off his CRR limit to JUST weigh enough to take the win. Tracker/Mercury Pro Gary Parsons, who was also passionate about trying to take the first AIM event trophy home, had a great day moving from bridge to bridge nearly in sight of Veteran's Memorial Park, but was off a bit from day two with a 28.53 pound weight, enough to give him a three day total of 99.72 pounds, just a bit more than a pound off the winning mark. Gary's GPS tracking showed a series of icons moving hardly at all with short trails to and from each of his A spots, while Tommy's went from river to bay and back.

YarCraft/Mercury Pro Tommy Kemos had a very good tournament, finishing third after a srong day two total and a very respectable final day tally of 29.48 that gave him a three day total of 91.11.

Here's the AIM leaderboard:

The Pros were truly jacked up abut the event, talking about how fun it was to fish, how the CRR format changes everything on the water, and mentionng that several times, when they by habit checked the livewell, felt first a moment of panic and then a flood of relief...there were no fish in the well, and there didn't need to be!
