What hole do you guys have your Mercs mounted in? 1-5? Mine came one down from the top.

Mine is in the Top Hole. I think I really need to raise it up a hole or two. One of these days, I'll get it raised up and try it.

My 225 on my 2060 is in the 2nd hole from the top mounted on a 6" jack plate.

I was playing with engine hieght, I bumped it up to 4 up and I lost the ability to fully trim or get adequete bow lift, had a nice rooster tail, bumped it back to 3 or middle, got some readings and good results, so I am going back to the origianal 2 hole up, will post my comparisons Sat after I get back

Well it appears the second hole up is the ticket, I lost about 100 rpm, but gained 1 to 1 1/2 mph, I was able to get more bow lift, so the Rev 4 likes to run a bit deeper, with 2 guys, 3/4 tank of gas, my stuff plus his stuff, 60 mph
