| Is there anywhere in the Wi. side of the river near LaCrosse that has cats? I know you can get them in Winona but you can't transport them across the river. I know some guys are fishing with them but there aren't dealers on the Wi. side that I know of. So are they illegal cats?
Thanks,

Location: Lake City MN | A friend of mine sells them at his tackle shop, The Main Chanel, in Alma WI (608-685-4336). They are a little spendy because he gets them from a legit bait dealer. Good luck...

| That is what I have heard also. I believe there is a person up there that is raising them in farm pond which has been approved or tested and he is able to sell them. Corner on the market for this side of the river. $20/doz is what I believe I paid. |

Location: LaCrosse, WI | I had to resort to getting them in MN and leaving them at a buddies house in MN. Fortunately I can put in at the lower landing at Dresbach most of the time for fishing pool 8. |
