Location: Menasha, WI | Rain or shine today we had our 4th annual Kids Wish for Fish event. We all meet down at Calumet County Park at 7:45 where we had 16 kids and 16 boaters. We fished from 8:30am till noon. Fishing was slow at first but as the morning went the bite started to pick up. Trolling with cranks and crawler harnesses was the ticket as the kids caught plenty of white bass, several walleyes, a couple of perch,a catfish, and of course sheepshead. After the morning of fishing we gathered up at the Brickyard Fishing Club where we provided the boaters,kids and their fishing partners with a lunch, trophies, and a Kids Wish For Fish T Shirt.Fishing gear was given to all kids who participated in the great event. I want to thank all the volunteer boaters and co captains that dedicated their time and expertise to all the kids.
