OK - let's hear what everyone thinks will take the 2009 MERC. Looks like some pretty good weather for Saturday & Sunday....

After my consultation with Miss Cleo, I'm gonna say: 38.65 lbs

I don't think it will be as high as everyone thinks. I'm going to go with 35.56#.

Based on the past two tourney results I'm thinking 45.23 to win.

43.38 to win, but I predict some mammoth one-day weights, and a log jam around 30 pounds. I'm just looking for a mammoth one day weight two days in a row...

Yep, maybe one of the biggest. I will say a breath ahead of jerry at 46.89 after what I just heard.

I will check my inbox before I leave in the morning Denny

My official guess is 41.43lbs by either Dan or Steve Bodinger.

I dont think anywhere near 46 pounds to win, it is only 5 fish a day. That is a 4.6 pound average!!!!! I think maybe 38.98

I heard they were using leadcore (3 colors) with a 2 oz bottom bouncer in the shallow mud withwillow cats as bait. Those eye were really tight to the bottom. I know a friend that knows someone that told me so.
