Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Just received mt Terrova 101. Apparently I need to know what type of transducer is in my Terrova 101 so I can program it into my HD5. Anyone know?
There is a list of about 20 different named brand transducers plus a couple of generics.
Someone must have gone through this. |

| Dennis, sorry, I don't have the HDS.......yet.
I would try Wade at JollyAnn Marine. He is pretty knowledgeable, and has a reputation of being quite helpful.
Or try Justin? at Thorne Brothers up in MN.
Here's the links.

OK, I talked with Matt at Thorne Bros. He said on his, he just connected it, and it worked. Kind like Plug and Play, I guess. When I asked him about picking a transducer of a list, he said his didn't bring a list up, it just worked. I can tell you that my US 2 runs at 200 HZ on my X113 and works great.

| OK, did a little research.
The US-2 is dual beam capable, so pick one of the 83/200 KHz transducers. Also, it has advanced temp sensor, so if that is an option of the 83/200 , then that is the one I would try first. Hope this helps. |

| should be easy to figure out on the water... I'd say generic 83/200 to start... temp should be auto matic...
thanks for the thread, I got a MK Maxxum pro on the bow with US2... (the lift assist is amazing) after some time with the HDS-8 on the dash, I'm thinking HDS up front... let us know how you make out... |

| it might be worth trying the Generic 83/200 with 1000W RMS as well.
Humminbird transducers are 83/200 with 1000W RMS; both MinnKota and Humminbird are owned by Johnson...
