| There is a nice Leadcore Trolling bite on the lake, fished the waters north of Hoksilla, Deer Island and Maiden rock, caught a number of fish in the 18 to 22 inch range and some shorts. Firetiger was the hot color, the water clarity down by Deer is incredible | |

| My son (GNWCROOKIE) and I were up there today too, and had a very exciting 5 minutes at around noon!
I picked up a leadcore rod with something live on the other end, and lo and behold a VERY heavy 29" rotund walleye came to the boat, and as we were both ogling this beauty, a planer board went back, so I grabbed this rod and boated another piggie of a walleye, this one taping out at 26"!
As for the rest of the fish, we pulled five between 16' and 20" for the table, released a 23"+, and lost 4 more heavy fish on their way to the net.
A little warm out, but a great day with my son, to say the least.
