Location: Rhinelander | If the seller brings it into the US, same as here, pay state taxes and it's yours. If you go to Canada to buy the rig, you will need to declare the purchase and pay the duty at the border. |

| I've researched the opposite. Buying a U.S. boat and bringing it into Canada. There should'nt be any duty as long as the boat was built in the U.S. or Canada. I think if the boat has an outbourd that was built in japan then you would have to pay duty on it only. Free Trade. |

| BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!!! I purchased a boat from a very good friend and after $2000 in legal fees and a fine by Homeland Security, I still cannot get boat titled. It is a major mess. |
