MIDWEST WALLEYE SERIES (MWS) THIRD TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED AUGUST 9, 2009 ON THE BAY OF GREEN BAY

APPLETON: The Midwest Walleye Series (MWS) will have their third tournament of the 2009 season in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Sunday August 9, 2009 and will include fishing the entire Winnebago System. There will be registration and rules meeting will be at Menominee Park, Oshkosh. Registration is 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the rules meeting at 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Teams must be off the water by 5:00 PM Saturday August 8, 2009.

Tournament hours will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. The entire Winnebago System is open to fishing. Each team can weigh five fish no saugers.

The top twenty five teams of the series will fish the championship tournament and attend the championship banquet. There will be no entry fee for the qualifiers. This years Championship will be October 10, 2009 fishing the entire Winnebago system.

The MWS circuit is a professional, competitive, and affordable fishing opportunity. Results are posted on our website www.fishtfm.com as well as other web sites. Also, the Midwest Outdoors Magazine covers the tournament results. A subscription to the Midwest Outdoors Magazine in included with the MWS membership.

The MWS is run by Fishermen for Fishermen.

The major sponsors for the Midwest Walleye Series are Ranger Boats, Mercury Marine, and Mills Fleet Farm.

Site sponsors include Anglers Pride, All Sport & Trophy, Drop-n-Stay, Lakemaster, Lamiglass Rods, Ka Boom Lures, M W Marine, Mack’s Lures, Marine General, StowMaster Nets, , and Midwest Outdoors.

There are still openings in this tournament. We will take entries up to the 5:00 PM Saturday August 8, 2009. However entries postmarked or taken after August 1, 2009 will be charged a processing fee.

Jim,

The title says Bay of Green Bay but the description says Winnebago....
Please clarify!!

Jim, with some of us fishing the FLW League on Saturday it might be a little tight getting registered by 5pm on Saturday. If needed, will there be another way to register or can you keep registration open a bit longer? If not, I am sure we will find a way to get registered by 5. Thanks.

Rick with the teams fishing the FLW as long as teams are signed up for the MWS tournament I can extend the registration until 5:30PM. Any new teams signing up for the tournment must be signed up by 5:00 PM Saturday. Also remember teams signing up after August 1st will pay the processing fee. The processing fee is fifty dollars if you mail or sign up after August1st. Are you planning on fishing? Either way remember to KEEP THE TIP UP! See I did listen that day from years ago. Hope to see you at the tournament

I saw a couple girls on Facebook that would look nice in bikini's that you could bring along
