| I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with any of there lowrance units. I have the 38 HD (1 1/2 years old), two weeks ago while prefishing for the FLW league event on Green Bay, I had the unit go out on me, just go black. After some testing I find out that there is a short in the unit and I would have to send it to lowrance to be repaired, to the turn 412 bucks. I call two days ago to see how long before I get it back. I'm told they are going to replace the unit, but they are on back order and don't know when they will be getting any in because they have to come from over seas. What's up with that??? I'm glad they are replacing it but come on you have no idea when you will get more in? I have a tournament in two weeks I NEED IT!!! Just frustrated and wondering if anyone else has experienced any problems with this unit or lowrance's service to see if this was a fluke or something I should expect to keep happening.
