The weather met expectations exactly this morning as the Pros left Swan Creek at 7:30. Winds were up today, but acceptable for most of the pros. Yar Craft/Mercury Pro Tommy Kemos said he was looking forward to a little more chop, especially in his day one rigging spot.

Lund/ Mercury pro and day one leader Mark Brumbaugh is also looking forward to the wind, as long as it stays down enough to allow him to get to his spots and back without undue delay.

The temperatures are forecast to be warmer today, but a front is approaching and the winds and temps will change dramatically by tomorrow morning. Winds could come up today pre-front, and adding extra travel time to the ride back to Akaska.

Watch the AIM website for morning interviews, updates, and images.

The Live Virtual Weigh In begins at 4:30 this afternoon at www.aimfishing.com.

Brian Keller came in with a CRR total over 31 pounds today to take the lead over Mark Brumbaugh despite the fact mark is the only angler in the Akaska AIM tournament to break 20 pounds on days one and two.

Todd Riley holds third by remaining consistent and is about 7 pounds out of the lead. Mike Gofron is in fourth, Chase parsons fifth, and gary parsons in sixth. Tommy Kemos is in seventh, Brad Ertel eighth, John Kolinski ninth, and David A Andersen rounds out the top ten.

The weather tomorrow looks good despite a cold front coming through, as the winds will move to the NE at 6 to 11 MPH and the high temperatures will move into the low 80's.

i hafta say, this format looks like fun! upgrading all day if you can , no slots i believe and the old just trying to get a couple big fish holds true but you cant compete with 7 from day to day with only 2 big ones. i like the cut format and over all it will save those who dont make it some money. 50 boats is a bit weak for now but i think Aim has a good working model. good live feeds and good sound for internet garble. good luck to all fishing the cercuit and those trying to build a new Walleye format. keep diggin boys.
