i pulled this off a 16ft mirro i found. i did fire it after hooking up a batarie and hooking up the gas . it started and i shut it down. the motor sat in the weeds on the back of the boat for 2 or 3 years un used . always was reliable over the years for the guy who is now passed away... I would have it gone threw and the lower unit checked for leaks and stuff as i do not wanna be responsible . not sure the HP i figure between 35 and 50. i think its about a 62 model year. I have the controles and steering cable and even a counsel that can be mounted to the siderail of the boat. needs a good scrubbin and a going over but if someone wants the entire pile im looking for 250.00. thanks! Brad

About 10 years ago I recovered an old Elgin outboard from a shed at a construction job I was doing. Not sure of the horsepower, probably under 10. I never tried to start it and it needs to be cleaned up. I kept it because I'm a pack rat...

Any idea as to how much something like this would be worth?
