Location: Crystal, MN | Well I'm looking into fishing as a co-angler this up coming season. I thought why not learn from the best, and fishing as a co-angler looks like a way to shorten the curve on learning new water and tactics. I have never done this before and was curious about a few things.
1) What do you bring with to the tournament? Do I need my own Rods?
2) Are you just placed with a Pro by a drawing?
3) Do you fish with some different every day?
This looks like a great learning tool, and if anyone cares to share there experiences with fishing as a co-angler or with a co-angler please feel free to fill me in.
I was watching the FLW walleye tournaments on my computer last night, and it was getting me pretty pumped up to try this.

Location: LaCrosse, WI | For the FLW it usually works like this.
1) What do you bring with to the tournament? Do I need my own Rods?
(Bring yourself, your food, clothing appropriate for the conditions and a good attitude)
2) Are you just placed with a Pro by a drawing?
(Yes, it's by random draw)
3) Do you fish with some different every day?
(Yes, you will be randomly drawn every day, except for final days of events with field cuts, then the top co fishes with the top boather etc....).
Have a good time and enjoy the experience.
