Location: Orland Park, IL | When I was a co with Dan Stier (or "chumley" as he liked to call me), we were jiggin the river. I caught about a dozen 10 to 12 inch catfish. Everytime I hooked up, I heard a "m-e-e-e-e-e-e-o-w-w-w-w" from the front of the boat. After the umpteenth one, we sat back and had some fried chicken.
Thanks for the flashback!

Location: Lincoln Park, Mi | I'm pretty sure we saw one in Northern Michigan last month. We were driving down a dirt road out in the back woods. We saw a BIG kitty sitting on the side of the road, then it walked to the other side of the road and disappeared into the woods. We got within a few 100 feet of it. DEFINITELY had a long tail. Assumed it was a bobcat, which is the only cat we have in the state, besides the lynx. Then, I remembered they have short tails. When I got home, I looked up a pic of a bobcat and that definitely wasn't it. No markings like that at all. Looked at a pic of a cougar and that sure does look like it!
