| That you are looking at Fish n Ski suggests you have family to consider in your boat search. Several nice models out there, although I don't have any direct experience with these boats. I thought the Stratus 375 or 386 were pretty nice boats for a family, and still gave enough room for fishing. A bit high sided though. Reatta's are nice, of course. But I'd consider the Angler before the Reatta. A couple guys here have the Angler.
For pure fishing, take a look at the Tuffy lineup. They'll be at the Milwaukee Musky Expo Feb 12-14th, at the IceBreaker 5, and the Madison Expo.

Location: Lincolnshire, IL | A combo boat in my opinion does neither very well and is probably a tough re-sell. I have an Angler and we ski and tube behind it with a tow harness and it has a swim ladder so for the 2% of the time that my wife is in it, it works great for those functions. It fishes very well. It has a nice rod locker which is important to me..and that is where I dislike the Reatta line(1850 & 2050) because the rod locker/storage is in the floor and inconvenient. BUT, what I really like about the Reata Line are the Jump seats in the back(at first I thought that wasn't that great of an idea). When I take my 2 kids out fishing, I have to add a chair in..then when we troll, I have to move the chair, not a really big deal but inconvenient. So, find a boat with a big rod locker, swim ladder and jump seats, spend $20 on a tow harness and you will be set. I haven't crawled around in any because I am not in the market for a boat now, but I think the Skeeters have that feature and maybe the Lunds? Just my opinion. If Ranger made a 2060 Angler with Jump seats...Oh boy!!

| I have the Tuffy 1890 Osprey and can take my wife and 2 kids out for a boat ride and ripp them all around the lake on tubes and skis. Rod locker was nice for ski storage but I will say they are now 17 and 18 and it was getting a little cramped for there leg room. All we do now is turn the back seats so they have to look at each other more but they don't mind. They will be giving me gas money now. Gas goes pretty fast starting and stopping allot. As for fishing I just love it. | |
