Does anybody know what a esox deck insert for a 2002 1700 osprey would weigh? I am currently making my own, and am wondering how much heavier it will be than a factory insert?

my 08 1760 came with the factory insert, I think it weighs 70-80#s. real easy to take in and out. snug fit, you really don't need to even bolt it down. me and the boy can move it around easy.

thanks for the info, I should be right about there when I am done. I wish I could have done it our of fiberglass, but I got it done for right about 200$. 250$ with 70 tackle slots built in. I think I'm really going to like it. Now I just need the ice to thaw!

Could you post what the tackle slots look like? I need to recarpet mine, and was just thinking about other options that I could also do while I am working on it.

I am just using vinyl downspout cut to size, and glued together. Works really well, and is affordable.
