Location: Manitowoc, WI | Although it's not official, it appears that Kevin VanDam has won another Bassmaster Classic. I know he's a tournament bass fisherman, but I challenge anyone to name a better money fisherman of ANY species than KVD!!! What a machine!!!

Location: Berlin | Unreal! I stayed up the last two nights watching it. He is truly an amazing competitor. Anytime one guy dominates a sport as much as he has it is a testament to the amount of skill needed. If there was a bunch of luck involved like Poker for instance this would never happen.

| 3 Classics and 8 Elites.
He is a fishing machine when it comes to cashing checks.
So, now he starts to chase Clunn for 4 Classics, I know I won't bet against him. |

Location: Lincoln Park, Mi | On top of being maybe the best fisherman in any species, he's one really cool, down to earth guy! His brother who owns D&R Sports in Michigan, where I got my boat from, is just as much of a class act and runs a top notch place. Both are Michigan gems! |

| Hey TJ Did you get to see the fishing expo that happens along with the classic ?
I had heard that the sport show is unreal. Did any of you walleye guys make it down there?

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Yes, I spent as much free time as I had at the show, and it was unbelievable! It was like nothing I've ever seen. More fishing stuff under one roof than you can even imagine.
It was a very busy week, but all in all, well worth it! I know John Gilman, Paul Meleen, Keith Kavajecz, John Butts, Jesse Buechel, Jimmy Hughes were all down there working with sponsors. |
