Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Buddy of mine from the Detroit area called me for some fishing advice last night. Asked me where I'd fish and what I'd use if I was going to fish the Saginaw River this morning. Told him I'd launch at the Independence bridge near my house, use live bait, big/bulky jigs and fish the flats area below the Indy bridge along the East side, and the area in front of the Dow Docks along the West side. He invited me along but I declined, since I've been fighting another cold for a few days. He sent me this picture a little while ago. Guess I'll have to start taking more of my own advice.
