Location: Berlin | Leaving Tuesday morning for Spring Valley. My favorite time of year. A bit above flood stage right now and dropping. If the rain is light this weekend it should be a decent bite for the MWC. Good luck to all those going. I will post some pics on this thread if we are lucky enough to get a few pre-fishing. |

Location: Orland Park, IL | Ahhh, yes fishing da ditch. Its such a love /hate with that river. I swear to God, I am here typing, wishin I were fishin......da ditch. (PS Walleye season closed in New York....I did crack open the B&B and sniffed/felt the F5 and F7 in the box...Old rapala Clown....so.....so.......sweet).
Good luck out there guys. Be sure to visit the Spring Valley Boat Club. I hear Riverview marina changed hands.
A great guy in ottawa, 2 towns over, is Big Jim. He has some great menos, great conversation, and great maps. I miss him already.

| Nothing like a 4 lb sauger smacking your jig! Nice fish, guys! Rich, you're receding pretty quick these days. Pretty soon you'll catch me! |

| Nice fish. Good luck Rich. Are you using a wide angle lens. Or is it true the camera adds 10 kilos.. I mean pounds? |

BTW, it is the same camera I took all those pictures of your mom with :D
Shep, it is not receeding. I just shave it that way to look more like you.
Komo, trust me when I tell you that you WISH you were here. This is one of those years that make you fall in love with this place.
No barge traffic, what's up with that??
