| I was wondering if one of you guys that have a 1890 could take a pics of the seats in the back turned to the side or measure and show me how much room there is between the seat and the side of the boat. Can you turn the seat sideways and sit comfortly fishing off the side.? It would be great if you could tell me inches that would be really great. Thanks Steve |

| Are you talking the 2 seats back by the livewell? Those you can turn sideways but you can't get in the livewell. The driver seat doesn't turn completely around on mine because my motor throttles for the main and kicker are side by side and don't allow it to turn sideways. Passenger seat does turn all the way around. |

| if you're asking whether they can be turned to face out towards the water while you jig over the side, not really in the standard configuration. the seat bases are normally spread out pretty close to the sides. you can spin the seat all the way around, but a tall person would bump their knees on the insides of the cockpit.
however...you could definitely order a boat with the seat bases put where YOU wanted them to be, moved slightly closer towards the center and this would easily allow for someone facing outwards.
if you're looking at used boats, i'm sure you could move the seat bases as well, that would just involve some slight carpet repair work over the old bolt holes.

| Yes I am talking about turning out like you are jigging of the side. Does anyone know how many inches there are between the seats and the side of the boat? I am trying to deside if I can move them in and how much I need to move them in? THanks Steve |

| When I ordered my last boat I had them leave the rear bases out and placed them where I wanted, I would contact the factory to see if they will still do that and maybe thay can put them in a spot where you want. |

| I'm not real familiar with Tuffys but how about installing a 'slider' under the seat.
Will that provide enough flexability to swivel when needed? |

| One other question for the 1890 guys/. I am trying to decide between an 70lb or 80lb trolling motor and was wondering what everyone else had and the shaft length.? THanks steve |

| 79" inside at the cap, a little narrower at the floor, as the sides angle.
I use an 80 lb Terrova, 60". I wouldn't go lees that either. |
