You guys may remember when I bought some of those smaller flutters spoons from Tommy Harris this winter at the Novi Show and built a few "Flutter Spoon Harnesses" with them.

Well, at the time I kinda figured they would not run very well at faster speeds like the spoons on my spoon harnesses did, and I was right. After 30 minutes of experimentation in the Pool behind the house I'm not happy at all with their action when pulled fast. But, their action when pulled slow (I'm guessing .06 to 1 MPH) is much better. But, I know the problems involved when running rigs really slow on the Saginaw Bay, especially in calm seas. For one Gulp Crawlers seem to loose their appeal when fish can get a "REAL GOOD" look at them. And using real crawlers at slower speeds invites everything that eats meat to take a bite or nip off the tail. So I needed to give these rigs a little extra flash to run them at at least slightly faster speeds. Came up with this configuration using both #5 and #8 Harris Blades and Pool tested them at faster speeds. Needless to say I'm very pleased with their actions now.
