Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | I just heard after several delays in the hearing dates, that the law Suite petition by one Commercial netter against our DNR to net and keep walleyes on the Saginaw Bay has been denied and dismissed without prejudice by the Federal Judge. Needless to say this comes as great news to those of us who fish the Bay. And I want to thank everyone who contacted me and offered their help (if we needed it) to fight what might have been IMO a bad decision. This could very well have opened up the Bay for the many others netters who would have surely petitioned to do the same if this case had went the other way.
