Location: Stevens Point, WI | All one hundred and four boats left again this morning from Elizabeth Park Marine under clear skies, cool temps and light winds.
Day One leaders Dan Johnson and Larry Rhoads were confident in their game plan and were just planning on going out and fishing, just like any other day. Dan and Larry said they were trolling spinner rigs but were also pulling some cranks, with many of their larger fish coming on the cranks.
Sitting in second place is Team Bodinger of Chiilton, WI. Both Steve and Dan were confident in their bite and they too were just planning on going out fishing.
The majority of the field bypassed the river in favor of the lake bite, but a few teams are spending time in the river.
