Subject: Anyone near the Twin Cities have a Tuffy 1700?


Anyone around the cities own one that I could take a look at? I want to compare a 1700 with a 1760. Thanks.

Im sure there's somone out there thats crazy enough to own one...I was in a hundred plus boat tournament last week and there was one tuffy in it. He said to me atleast the market isn't flooded with them...I replied, And it never will be.

You are obviously poorly informed. Tuffy builds a very nice boat and offers an excellent value for the dollar. The 1700 is a great hull and a really comfortable big water rig for a 17' model, runs well with 90 HP loaded up, and can be bought right now for under 24K nicely appointed.

Tuffy is regional builder, and doesn't desire to be anything else.

Tuffy has been in business for over 30 years, and is the most financially secure independent boat builder in the US. They are introducing three new models over the next year, and continue to innovate along the way. There's literally thousands of folks 'crazy' enough to own a Tuffy, and you won't find a more loyal overall following running any other brand.
