| I just purchased a I pilot add on for my Terrova and installed it per the directions. I took it out this morning and the only thing that worked was the Co-pilot and auto pilot features. None of the GPS functions wouldn't work and it would not grab a satilight signal. Did I install wrong or did I get a bad unit? any suggestions?

| 2 things to check out.first make sure the connector up in the head of the motor is completly plugged all the way in.they are a super tight fit and even though you think it's snapped together it may not be.get a good grip on it and shove it together.second did you hit the "learn" button on top of the motor?hope this helps. |

| Yes, I tried all that 4 times still the same results. I think I got a bad unit. |

| hi i'm a minn kota asc i check my memo on the i pilot ther were a few issue but none like that, just make sure all you connects a tight , if they look okay , call minn kota its bad thanks jim |

| Thanks for the replies guys. I talked to Minn Kota service tech last week and the only thing he could offer up was to take it to an autherized Minn kota service center. So seeing as I was working in Illinios and the closest to my home was Winnaconne, I took it back to Bass Pro in Gurnee. They all agreed it was a bad head and gave me my money back. No more I Pilots expected until July. Anybody know where to get one around the Fond du Lac area? |

| your sticking problem? acording to my repair memo, you can take the remote apart and make sure the cantact haven't moved, if they haven't moved then there a defective switch thanks Jim minn kota ASC dealer |
