I thought these were blue pike.

The picture above looks like Zander. Definately not a pike, if your talking pike as in Northern Pike. But maybe blue pike, as in Walleyed Pike?

I used to run some fishing camps in Northern Ontario and there were several lakes that held large quantities of these "blue phase" walleyes... According to the Ontario MNR it is a result of the water composition and not true Blue Pike (you can tell by the size of the eyes apparently).

But then again there are no cougars in WI according to the DNR.....
