Location: Darboy USA | I noticed yesterday that when I tried to pull up my Lakemaster chip on my X27c that it wouldn't acknowledge the chip in the unit and the "lowrance" was the only map I could get to come up.
Anyone know what the issue might be? It worked a couple weeks ago when I was using it all the time. I tried both slots and turned it on and off, but to no avail. Any help would be great, otherwise I'll be browsing the manual this week I guess.

| Have you gone to map data page and reselected the chip map as your choice? |

| Remove the chip and do a soft reset on your Lowrance. If that doesn't work it may be an issue with the chip. |

Location: Darboy USA | I've tried that, but like I said, it doesn't recognize the LM chip as a potential map source, only the Lowrance pre-loaded map. I tried my Navionics one last night and that worked, and then tried my 2007 LM to see if it made a difference and still would not recognize either LM chip I have. I'm stumped?? |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Aaron, Lowrance is the selection you need to highlight for map data to recognize the Lakemaster chip. I did this on mine and thought it was not reading the chip. However, I noticed that with mine, I had to zoom in closer with the lakemaster chip in order for it to display contours. Try this and see if it works. |
