Location: Manitowoc WI | The results of the tournament are great testimony to why bago is such a great place to have a tournament. The top 4 finishers fished 4 different corners of lake using 4 different techniques. I was on fish in the upper lakes during practice, and to my surprise the storms absoutly shut my bite off. We cought over 10 fish in an hour. With no of which being eyes. We went and tried the river, but my jigging skills are nothing compared to Jason and Brad. We ended up catching a couple walleyes but nothing worth a weight. Congrats on a tough bite! I WILL see you guys in the fourth qualifier in upper green bay |

| Thanks guys! All I can say is WOW! This has been a strange year the bite has been anything but typical and the clear water has really changed the game. When I got the big fish later in the day on sunday , I knew at that point we had just won the tourney. It was the first time I hooted and hollered in the boat when a fish hit the deck. It feels good to come out on top once again. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the SWC has a host of great sticks I welcome anyone to come out and fish the SWC Cabela's qualifiers.
Also, I'd like to offer a special congrats to 7 year old Cole. Guy and Cole took 2nd place, Guy is Cole's dad. Guy drove the boat and Cole called the shots......Look out for this one boys, he's going to be a real player!
Way to go Jeff and Bill on your 3rd place finish. |
